Tarbert Discovery centre

Between 1994 and 2007 there was the most amazing archaological exploration of the area which showed up the site of a Pictish monastery. Most of the artefacts found there can be seen in the Discovery Centre and museum which is housed in St Colcom's church, the oldest part of which was built in the 9th century.
